After watching Titus Bramble wear the black and white of Newcastle United for 5 seasons now, we have decided enough is enough and have came up with an online petition, allowing people to record their dissatisfaction for having Bramble as a member of our beloved Newcastle United.

Who is Titus Bramble? - A professional clown. Born on July 21st 1981, Titus has been a central defender at Newcastle United since being purchased from Ipswich Town for 7 (seven) million pounds in 2002. It was a surprise purchase at the time, Ipswich having been relegated that season and our manager at the time (Bobby Robson) was clearly feeling sentimental towards his old club. The club used the excuse that "he was only 21 and there was plenty of room to develop" when questioned why we bought such a donkey to bolster our traditionally poor defense.

Why pick on Titus? Any player who wears black and white is supported by 50,000 Geordies every Saturday & Sunday. We don't condone fans who boo our own players but we are simply sick and tired of watching Titus, often single handedly lose our team goals and points. He is consistently poor, has major losses of concentration, makes stupid tackles and often gets sent off and is not by any stretch of the imagination a Premiership footballer.

What's the point of the petition? Titus's contract is over at the end of this season and we would LOVE to see it not get renewed. While we don't expect the club to take this petition on board, we do hope the media attention from the petition will add pressure to those in charge and at the very least, ensure a replacement is bought. WE KNOW WE AREN'T THE ONLY ONES WHO THINK TITUS IS CRAP!
