Far better performance from the lads. We outplayed Columbus for much of the match, but as usual lost concentration after what should have been our winning goal allowing the Crew to march straight up the field and draw level.

The Toon Army made it's presence felt at Crew stadium. We were fewer in number, but the lads on the Wreck Room terrace more than made up for it in volume! A beautiful stadium, the only purpose-built soccer stadium in the US. What a pleasure after the usual cavernous stadiums used by MLS in other cities. Hope the trend catches on...soon.

Lacking appropriate hostelries near the ground, our hosts opened their Wreck Room to us good and early. They stocked Broon in bottles (not easy to come by in the States). Entertainment was provided by the sounds of Alexei Lalas and band wafting up from a stage down below us. Freddie Shepherd even stopped by to say hello. Smart man, knows where to find the real party!

First a visit to the Will Call window...only another 5min...or 20...

National anthems? Nahh...they're wondering what's up with the 7ft tall hyperactive cat.

Yes, we should have won, but it was a far better performance than in DC.
