A sunny a warm afternoon amongst the construction at Georgetown started off with a few games of head tennis. The competition was intense but great fun to watch. Plenty of banter and more than a few bicycle kicks. The unfortunate net coming in for more than a little abuse from Given and Dabizas flinging themselves about. The side also included Barton, Hughes, and Howey. The winning side in the first round consisted of our strike force of Shearer, Ferguson, Cort, Gallacher and Cordone along with Harper.

After they went off for some well-earned champagne Gatorade, the next team came along which included Speed, McClen, and Glass. Barton's side learned from previous defeat and won the second round.
And in the 3rd place round...

Domi and Lee (15k)
In the meantime, Domi and Lee were found walking about. Lee including some gentle stretching while nursing a slight thigh strain. A short practice game followed which included plenty of competitiveness, but still obviously a squad getting used to each other and working out the rust of a summer off.
